The Science of Overcoming Anxiety with Gentle Yoga and Breath Workshop

Have you ever experienced stress and/or anxiety? It is an overwhelming epidemic in our world today.

We often look for ways to manage it through substances, working out, or wishing it away- yet we still have those symptoms that appear.

According to the WHO website, 1 in 13 people globally experience anxiety and it is the most common mental health disorder. It is often a chronic, underlying condition.

In this specialty workshop, we will dive into the science of how yoga can help you overcome crippling anxiety so you can learn how to self-regulate your body and mind. There will be a short powerpoint discussion about what anxiety is, the neuroscience of our autonomic nervous system, the physiology of stress, and psycho education tools to help guide you into learning how to meet yourself where you are.

Sunday, February 21st 4-6pm

Live streamed via Zoom on my virtual yoga studio. Recording will be available if you are unable to attend.
