Mental health issues are now considered to be one of the main causes of the overall disease burden worldwide. πŸ’™

It can feel exhausting, scary, overwhelming, and extremely isolating. πŸ’™

I am a HUGE advocate for psychotherapy, but I also believe we MUST address ALL layers of the mind & body.

🌟 Childs pose - This rounds your spine and promotes a feeling of security. Try to breathe into your back body.

🌟 Knees into chest (apanasana) - This is a great pose to try in bed. It’s relaxing, reduces irritability, and also helps with low back issues.

🌟 Mountain pose - It’s not just standing around or only for beginners. It is highly effective for keeping your body awareness in check. Try using the mantra β€œI am” as you inhale and β€œhere” when you exhale.

🌟 Tree pose - Focus on one spot and breathe into the shape. Visualize growing roots into the earth.
